50 something...

Today I am no longer 50, but 50 "something"!!
My 50th year has been an amazing one -

My son married and I gained a daughter-in-law!!

My daughter & son-in-law announced they were pregnant
with our first grandchild, a girl!

and I completed 5 half marathons!!!

Each one of these milestones has taught me
a little more about myself. You would think that
after 50 years you would know yourself rather well.
Notsomuch!!! That is one of the things I enjoy
about life; you never stop learning!!!

I'm sure I will continue to learn more about me!

I'm sure my family will continue to be blessed
with good health and good times ~
My 'Ohana' means more to me than
words can express and I continue to
be thankful for all of them and the
joys they bring me!!!

Happy Birthday!
I'm just 2 years older, and I find I'm still getting to know myself too: long may it continue.
Congrats on the half-marathons! See, you're only a young one!

Happy belated birthday, my dear friend! You've had a beautiful year - and you deserve all the best! You accomplished so much - you're definitely an inspiration for me to work harder with my running. I hope one day I'll be running one with you :) xo

Happy belated birthday! so many wonderful blessings during your 50th year :o) You have a beautiful family, with a sweet grandbaby girl to look forward to!
And oh my!!! You are amazing to have completed 5 half marathons!!! Today is the Rock and Roll Marathon here in Savannah and I had a teeny weeny thought of at least "walking" the half...but...that thought didnt come to fruition! Our middle daughter is the runner and my hubby used to run quite a bit, especially in Iraq (um...yeah, I would ask him if that was really a safe thing to do at the time!)

Hugs to you, my friend!!!
Blessings & Aloha!
